Shoe bike Bozeman Nice guy. 4 miles
I'm now in Chihuahua which is 2469 miles from Bozeman Copper Canyon Country.
My next milestone is 2490 miles which means the trip is 10% done.
Well, not really, it's ten percent the circumference of the earth. Actual miles on the ground are different. There must be a way to figure out how close it is. Walking the CDT trail from Bozeman certainly didn't help. Some formula for ground type I.E. Mountains Vs level and general addition to roads. Or, I could just route the whole damn thing on a map.

Wow, that's a cool bike. What would you have done if you had already taken your picture for the day?
Yeah, luckily it was in the morning. I'm not sure that the rule will stand. We'll see. It has changed the way I walk, it makes me want to find cool things to photograph. That one was a no brainer. There might be some mysterious zen lesson here...
