You're right; there are a ton of untold stories in the picture! I think you should make it a personal research project to find out who this "ass man" is and what his stories are!
What really happened is that he is a famous Bass fisherman and a Bass fisherman groupie stole the B off of the boat. Being the brilliant,yet misunderstood by society, fisherman he has never noticed the missing B.
That doesn't hold water(heh) mainly because Montana doesn't have Bass fish.
If I were to seek this fellow out, It would probably end in disappointment. He best lives in our own minds. The legendary Ass Man, explemtor of the sporting life, seeking fish throughout the contient
